Minco Mining & Metals Corporation ("MINCO") (TSX: "MMM") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Simon Anderson as Chief Financial Officer and Ms. Karyn Bachert as Corporate Secretary of Minco Mining & Metals Corporation and Minco Silver Corporation. Mr. Simon Anderson is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator in British Columbia. He is the Vice President of MCSI Consulting Group, a Vancouver based consulting company which provides regulatory compliance, valuation and financial operations advice to a variety of private and public companies. Prior to his engagement with MCSI, Mr. Anderson was a partner in a major accounting firm and practiced primarily in areas involving business and securities valuations, mergers and acquisitions, financial consulting and litigation support. Ms. Karyn Bachert has extensive experience relating to the management of public companies trading both in Canada and the United States.
